Our activities are mainly
focused on broadcasting and "on demand" availability of
lectures (undergraduate, postgraduate), seminars and other events relevant
to the biomedical sciences. To implement this task we are using
Microsoft's windows 2000 tools (web servers, media servers, encoders)

Margaritis and associates addressed to the students of Biology in our
Faculty

Broadcasting of postgraduate courses, mainly of the Masters degree
"Medical Biology" offered by the Faculty of Biology and the Medical
School of Athens University.

3, broadcast of lectures of general interest

Several lectures or seminars, beyond the official courses of the
Dept. of Biology are broadcasted.

4, microscope live and other encoding activities

This activity aims in real time broadcasting of microscope images so
that researchers from various Universities can exchange opinion.
